If it boots from CD, then Vista does not even matter. This runs independently of your OS.

@Mike. There are also things called &quot;PE&quot; like BartPE which allows you to run an OS off a CD. Same goes for Linux distros. You can download a cd of any type of linux and run it off a CD to access your hard drive without the problems of being bogged down. This comes in handy for when you want to grab files off the drive, or point an antivirus at the drive.</description>

Even though there are so many tools out there - probably one of everything I could ask for - I would not even have thought to use something like this.</description>
